Pete spent 16 years in the Navy as a broadcaster, photojournalist, writer, magazine editor and public affairs spokesman.   Having left the Navy, he now instructs military students in writing and photojournalism.

   He is the creator and writer of a comic and geek convention blog called Pete Goes to ComicCon.  There, he spotlights artists, cosplayers, and vendors as well as social activsm and charity within the geek community.
